Reflection
I think that the finish product is well done and looks appealing. I am pretty statisfied with all the work I put into it and how relevant it is to my field of study. I think that by using weebly, my website was much easier to create because it is a very innovative tool with a lot of different elements, designs and settings to use for the website and most importantly, its simplicity made it much easier to work with. I really enjoy the final product and how it is set up, but I think that I can always make it better by including more games, pictures and videos.
The strengths of my games resource website is probably layout of the website. The categories are broken up in the side to divide from Cooperative/TeamBuilding, Special, Invasion/Territorial, etc. It is very easy to navigate through, and by click each page, there is a description of what the activities are and how they can be used in Physical Education. Another strength is the the Home and Topic sections. I went all out on both pages trying to illustrate what the website is about as well as the background of the website.
The weaknesses of my games resource is probably the Lesson Plan section. I feel that I did not have enough description about what the lesson plans were and also, that there were not enough categories or lesson plans included. Since it is my first year, I only have a selected few at my disposal but I should have asked others for more. I also did not include diagrams in my elementary game sections because I had trouble uploading them. Hopefully, the lesson plans make up this section because they include some of the diagrams.
Overall, I think that this was a unique experience and that it really helped me for my future career as a Physical and Health Specialist. I will continue using and adding to this website in order to use it for my teaching and to show to potential employers.
